Anyone who is new to Calvary Kids or has not taught in the past year will need to sign up and attend an upcoming orientation. Childcare is provided by reservation only.

Calvary Kids TeamKeepers at HomeKEEPERS AT HOME teaches girls (ages 4-15) God’s design for Christian women, preparing them to be godly helpmates and mothers. Girls earn badges for skills in Bible, creativity, homemaking, knowledge, nature, character and recreation. Keepers at Home meets the 1st, 3rd & 5th Mondays at 7 p.m.
Calvary Kids TeamTeens in Leadership Training (TILT)TEENS IN LEADERSHIP TRAINING (TILT) is an extension of Calvary Kids Team that trains teenagers to serve in Calvary Kids classes. TILT focuses on communication, team building, leadership skills, discipleship and fellowship. We meet at various times throughout the year on Sundays at 12:30 p.m.
Calvary Kids TeamTrail Life USATrail Life USA is a Christian adventure, character, and leadership program for young men. The K-12 program centers on outdoor experiences that build a young man’s skills and allow him to grow on a personal level and as a role model and leader for his peers. Living the Trail Life is a journey established on timeless values derived from the Bible. We meet on Monday nights at 7 p.m.
Calvary SportsCalvary SportsWe strive to impact and connect people in the community and overseas by using sports as a tool to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ. This is done through fellowship, discipleship, and outreach.
Chapel BooksChapel BooksCHAPEL BOOKS is located on the east side of the Main Lobby. Volunteers can serve before or after any service assisting customers, or at various times throughout the week with restocking, cleaning and other jobs.
Food Service MinistryFood Service MinistryFOOD SERVICE MINISTRY serve various food items and desserts before and after all services in the Main Lobby. No experience is needed; various opportunities to assist in cooking, cleaning and serving are available.
Foster ReachFoster ReachFOSTER REACH invests in the lives of foster children by spending time with them, providing activities, lessons, and sharing the gospel. Foster Reach meets on the 2nd Tuesday of every month from 7-9 p.m. at Calvary Chapel St. Petersburg.
Maintenance/JanitorialCleaning CrewCLEANING CREW volunteers help clean the church after each service and at various times throughout the week.
Media TeamMedia TeamMEDIA TEAM volunteers run the announcements and worship slides during services.
Men's MinistryMen of ArmsMEN OF ARMS helps needy families with home repairs. Volunteers meet the first Saturday of each month at 7:30 a.m. for breakfast at Calvary Chapel St. Petersburg, and then head out to a scheduled jobsite. Newcomers are welcome and no experience is needed.
Men's MinistryParking LotPARKING LOT assists with parking before and after every weekend service.
Men's MinistryUshersUSHERS assist by directing people to available seats during every service and by maintaining the Main Auditorium before and after each service.
Mentoring MinistryLove Our SchoolsLOVE OUR SCHOOLS partners with Campbell Park elementary in St. Petersburg so we can be the hands and feet of Jesus in our community. Mentors (“Lunch Pals”) develop friendships and are a positive role model by meeting with a child once a week during the child’s lunch time. (Training required.) In addition, groups or individuals can adopt a class, which may include buying supplies, offering occasional activities, or assisting the teacher.
Mentoring MinistryYouth MentoringYOUTH MENTORING shares Christ’s love by developing friendships and being positive role models to children ages 8-15 who are fatherless or have an incarcerated parent. Mentors meet weekly one-on-one with a child for 1-3 hours and participate in various fun activities in the community.
Missions MinistrySENDERS!SENDERS! serves alongside the Missions Department, providing support to our missionaries in six identified areas: morale, logistics, finances, prayer, communication and re-entry. The goal is to ensure that all missionaries connected to the church experience effective preparation, deployment, field service and re-entry. Meetings are the 2nd and 4th Thursdays of each month at 7 p.m.
Outreach MinistryConnection TeamCONNECTION TEAM serves by welcoming people in the Main Lobby, providing info for general questions, events and ministries, helping people sign up for a class or volunteer opportunities, as well as connecting people to small group fellowships.
Outreach MinistryDisaster ReliefDISASTER RELIEF partners with Samaritan’s Purse to bring relief to victims of disaster by helping with demolition, construction or landscaping.
Outreach MinistryFaith Community NursingFAITH COMMUNITY NURSING partners with St. Anthony’s Hospital to train nurses from our church to educate, advocate and be a resource for church members, especially those with an illness or in the hospital. Outreach MinistryMinute Men and WomenMINUTE MEN AND WOMEN assist on an occasional basis for special events and activities, helping with set-up, clean-up, manning product tables, making phone calls, typing, baking, etc. To be placed on a call list for occasional service projects, sign up in the Main Lobby or calvarystp.org.
Outreach MinistryOur Journey of Hope®Our Journey of Hope® offers cancer patients and their caregivers someone to come alongside them during a very trying time. We hope to provide support, prayer, understanding, assistance with information and care to the patient and their family. If you would like to be a part of this ministry, some experience with cancer is needed and training is required.
Outreach MinistryPrison MinistryPRISON TEAMS visit area prisons to lead worship, teach the Bible and fellowship with inmates. Prison Teams meet various times throughout the month. For security reasons, arrangements must be made in advance.
Outreach MinistryVisitation TeamVISITATION TEAM visits people who are sick, in the hospital or in local nursing homes by praying, encouraging and studying the Bible.
Prayer ChainPrayer ChainEMAIL PRAYER CHAIN receives requests via email to pray for specific needs in the body at Calvary Chapel St. Petersburg.
Pro-Life MinistryTampa Bay Pro-Life AllianceTAMPA BAY PRO-LIFE ALLIANCE INC. is a Christian organization dedicated to rescuing babies, women and men from the destruction of abortion. Meetings to educate, encourage and equip Bay Area Christians to be effective voices for life are held at Calvary Chapel St. Petersburg on the last Tuesday of every month at 7 p.m.
Safety MinistrySafety MinistrySAFETY TEAM members help keep Calvary Chapel St. Petersburg safe during every service and throughout the week. The team patrols the parking lot and building, watches for and responds to safety-related concerns and medical needs.
Shuttle Driver Shuttle Driver Because we have a large parking lot, shuttle drivers transport those who can use assistance getting from there vehicle and to the main entrance before and after the worship services.
Women's MinistryHeartspun Knitting & CrochetingHEARTSPUN KNITTING & CROCHETING gathers together women who wish to serve by making baby blankets, shawls, scarves, hats and other items for the outreach ministries of the church. Meetings are the 2nd Friday of every month from 6:30-9 p.m. No experience is needed; bring your needles, yarn and patterns. All ages are welcome, but minors must come with a parent or adult.
Women's MinistryWomen of HeartWOMEN OF HEART serve families or people in need of practical help by preparing meals, doing light housework, running errands, etc.
Youthful Offender MinistryJesus For JuvenilesJesus for Juveniles volunteers visit female youthful offenders (ages 12-19) in a facility in Hillsborough County one Saturday morning a month by serving a pancake breakfast and/or by mentoring.
Youthful Offender MinistryJuvenile Detention Center (JDC)JUVENILE DETENTION CENTER (JDC) visits youthful offenders (ages 10-17) at the Pinellas Juvenile Detention Center, teaching the Bible and offering fellowship. JDC meets the 2nd Sunday of the month at 3:45pm. For security reasons, arrangements must be made in advance by calling Jeff Malague.
